Water Governance in Mexico: Ejidos

Overall

As a research assistant, I helped analyzed qualitative and quantitatively (where possible) the effectiveness of Mexican groundwater policies in communal land grants called ejidos. We performed two case studies with information collected through interviews in Mexico, federal reports, and phone surveys.

In the second portion of the research, we focused on understanding the actual relationships and interactions between members of the communal lands and CONAGUA, Mexico's federal water institution.
