An interactive art display showcasing a world with only winter and summer as seasons and where snowmen and humans "co-exist."
When users first arrive at the ARK's performance stage, the circular timer under the roof will be flashing on and off. They must put on the headphones and press the red button to let our performers know the show should begin!
Once the button has been pressed, the curtains will open, the timer will begin to fill up, and the stage will rotate to reveal the season indicated by the position of the lever. Depending on the season, the ambience light in the clouds, the music, and the scene pieces will change. Winter brings in cool colors to the background, winter holiday music, and snowy scenery!
Moving the lever will cause the stage to rotate and switch seasons. As an analog input, the lever's position determines the degree to which the stage has rotated. If set at either extremity of the range of movement, the stage will have fully transitioned into a different season.
Summer time also completely changes the pieces on stage, introduces more vivid music, and sets warm colors for the ambient light. Users can hover their hand over the snowman hand silhouette to change the light intensity in the clouds.
